Terms & Conditions

Lead Times:

• Lead times may be extended without notice during a sale or new product release when we have a sudden surplus of orders.

• During a preorder for new product release, lead times will go into effect after we receive stock from our supplier.
  

• Lead times are only an estimate and may vary depending on material availability and current workload. We will try to process your order as soon as we can and beat our estimated lead times whenever possible.

• Lead times do not include shipping transit times.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD LICENSING AGREEMENT:

• By purchasing / downloading / using our files, you are agreeing to the following:

  • ALL DIGITAL DOWNLOAD SALES ARE FINAL! Since this is a digital download and not a physical product, there are no returns, exchanges,  refunds, or warranty.

    The files are owned by Ratha Precision Design [RPD] and we retain copyright and intellectual property rights. You do not obtain ownership of the IP or copyright by purchasing

  • Unauthorized distribution to organizations outside of the original purchaser is strictly forbidden and liable to be punished to the full extent of the law. You will NOT share, resell, give away, or distribute the files to others that have not purchased themselves. If we determine you’ve done so, we reserve the right to take legal action.

 

Shipping:

• Parts may be shipped either UPS, USPS, or DHL.

• Once a part ships you will receive tracking information via email.
  

• In case of damaged or lost shipments, you must contact the carrier for claims. We package the parts appropriately but once they leave the shop any mishandling by the carrier is out of our control. We will be happy to assist but it is ultimately up to the customer to report and file any claims.
  

Returns:

• All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

• All parts must be packaged appropriately and in the same box they were originally shipped in.

• All parts must be in the same condition they were received in so we can resell them. Parts that have been installed on vehicles and used or modified in any way are not eligible to be returned.

• Any parts that arrive to us damaged due to poor packaging will be assessed and damages deducted from the refund amount.

• Any custom or modified products are not eligible for return.

• Original shipping charges are not eligible for refund.

• Customer is responsible for any return shipping charges. Tracking information must be provided once dropped off with the carrier.

 

Cancelation:

• Orders can NOT be canceled once they are shipped.

• All canceled orders are subject to a minimum 10% cancellation fee. Or 15% on "built to order" parts that we have already started welding.

• Any custom orders will be assessed and the refund amount will be at our discretion. If custom parts were ordered for the build, the cost of those parts and potentially a design charge will not be refunded.

• Invoiced orders that put down a deposit may be canceled. However depending on where we are in the build process you may loose your deposit if we have already started welding.

• If you can find someone to take over your order, that is an option to cancel and avoid any cancelation fees. However depending on the selected options for the order and where we are in the build process, changes might not be possible.

 

Warranty:

• Inspect your products for any defects before installing them or throwing away the original packaging.

• We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all parts against major manufacturer defects. If the claim is valid, we will attempt to repair or exchange the malfunctioning part. In the event that neither of those are possible, a refund will be given. However once installed on the vehicle and the product shows signs of off-road use, it is no longer applicable towards warranty claims. 

• POWDERCOATING WILL NOT BE WARRANTIED IN ANY WAY from damage, scratches, rub marks, rust, or fading caused during shipping or from normal use. There may also be evidence of small scratches or weld splatter under the powdercoating that was caused during manufacturing.

  • If you live in an area where your vehicle is exposed to lots of salt or if you have a problem with our powdercoating not being warrantied, its recommended to order it as raw steel and have it coated locally at a place that will warranty their work if the coating fails.

  • If you plan to off-road / abuse your vehicle, its recommended to paint the parts yourself so you can easily touch up any damage.

  • If rust does start to appear on powdercoated parts, it is recommended to apply a rust inhibitor / preventative such as wool wax or fluid film to the affected areas.

  • If you live in areas where your vehicle is exposed to salt, it is also a good idea to pre-apply a rust preventative.

  • It should also be noted that during the powdercoat process, parts are hung by hooks or bolted to a rolling stand to hold them. There may be touch up marks on the areas where the hooks / bolts were attached. This is normal.

 

Liability:

• All Ratha Precision Design [RPD] products are intended for off-road use only. 

• They should be used safely and with good judgment. 

• Ratha Precision Design [RPD] takes no liability in the event of damage, loss, or injury to the customer, their vehicle, or any other affected party during the installation or use (or misuse) of our products. 

• By installing our products, or by purchasing or driving a vehicle with our products already installed, you assume any and all risk and liability.

• In no event will Ratha Precision Design [RPD] be liable for any lost profits, lost sales, or for any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages or for any other damages of any kind or nature.

General Conditions:

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

• We reserve the right to limit any of the products or services we offer to any single person or group.

• We reserve the right to discontinue any products without notice.

• We reserve the right to change the design or available options on a product without notice.

• We reserve the right to change the price of a product without notice.

• We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time for any reason.

• We reserve the right to change these policies/terms without notice.

• We reserve the right to cease communication with or "block" any customers that act rude or aggressive.
