The Version one (V1) DIY Tire Carrier was designed with the home/DIY builder in mind. All parts can be built with off the shelf material using basic tools. No bending required or hard to cut patterns with this build plan. 

All the steel, materials, and tools needed to fabricated this tire carrier are very easy to come by. The novice fabricator can put this together and have a well design and functional unit that cost over a thousand dollars if it were manufacture.
